
Mr. Natarajan holds the esteemed position of Adjunct Faculty at Tufts School of Medicine. With a rich background in the pharmaceutical industry, Mr. Natarajan previously served at Sanofi as an Associate Vice President in the Drug Disposition division and as a Strategic Scientific Advisor. In these roles, he provided invaluable support to Oncology programs, offering critical input on translational pharmacology, ADME, and PK/PD throughout the stages of discovery and development.
Mr. Natarajan obtained his B. Pharm and MSc in Pharmacology from the University of Madras, India. He further pursued his MS in Pharmacotherapeutics at Long Island University, New York, and completed his clinical pharmacy training at Down State Medical Center in New York. With years of experience across various research areas and levels at esteemed organizations such as Boehringer Ingelheim, Bristol Myers Squibb, and Aventis, Mr. Natarajan brings a wealth of expertise to his current role.
During his tenure at Sanofi-Aventis, Mr. Natarajan served as the Deputy Global Head of Discovery MPK, where he provided pivotal Discovery Support. In this capacity, he oversaw effective chemical optimization and the druggability of new compounds, ensuring desirable ADME and pharmacokinetic properties.
Mr. Natarajan is also recognized as an esteemed invited speaker (faculty) at renowned institutions and conferences worldwide, including The Harvard Clinical and Translational Science Center and Tufts Center for the Study of Drug Development. His presentations on Translational medicine have been featured at esteemed venues such as CSIR-Institute of Genomics & Integrative Biology in India, Gulf Medical University in the United Arab Emirates, and Society for the Study of Xenobiotics-India. Active in professional organizations, Mr. Natarajan is a member of AAPS, ACCP, SITC, and DIA, contributing actively to the advancement of pharmaceutical sciences.
